Mohanlal Ramchandra Saboo: In 1942, at the tender age of 17, he began working in a reputed jewellery mart in Vijayawada and learned the art of jewellery carving. As the Gold control act brought in oppressive restrictions on the gold business, a man who never believed in giving up, thought of starting his own business in gold.

With the support of his brother, it all began from his home.
Praveen Kumar Saboo and Pradeep Kumar Saboo: Son’s of Mohanlal Ramchandra Saboo diversified the family business and helped their father in expansion of Maheshwari Jewellers. Working along with their father, son’s picked the knowledge and skills to essential in the jewellery business.

With the idea of giving our clients, peace of mind and guarantee of their fine jewellery purchase, Maheshwari Jewellers was the first to introduce stamping the jewellery in city of Vijayawada.

Girish and Arun:
The two had the privilege to learn from father Praveen Kumar Saboo and Grandfather Mohanlal Ramchandra Saboo. Girish took the retail jewellery experience to a whole new level. His patience, his ability to understand the client, his persistence and hard work, and his soft spoken nature enabled him to create Maheswari of what it is today.

Arun’s vision and his ability to manage work and workers behind the scene helped him in setting up the production office in Hyderabad, He saw the need to specialize in diamond grading and truly pick up the raw skills needed to work with Diamonds. This motivated him to get his Diamond grading certificate from the Indian Diamond Institute in Surat, India.

We are one of its kind in Vijayawada market that runs a retail and production house. Maheshwari Jewellers is the third generation family business, specializing in 916 hallmark gold, uncut diamonds, gemstones, kundan, light weight, traditional, fancy, temple, south-Indian jewellery and re-modeling of traditional antique jewellery.
